Here are a few helpful tips on driving in Florida.
Please keep your car hire documents and driving license with you when you are in the car, or you might get fined!
YES you can turn right on a red light unless there is a sign stating otherwise, and pedestrians do have the right of way.
DO NOT OVERTAKE A STATIONARY SCHOOL BUS, if the bus has stopped and the sign on the back has come out then you must stop which ever lane you are in, and if the is no median (central reservation) then traffic on both sides of the road should stop.
YOU MUST ALWAYS INDICATE WHEN CHANGING LANES, there is a fine for not doing this, also remember they do not have the "keep left unless overtaking system" we have over here, they drive in any lane, so please be aware of everyone around you!!
DO NOT SPEED, I know how frustrating it can be driving at 30 mph, but there are plenty of Police, highway patrol and Sherriff's out there to catch you, so please be careful.
